Chickadee Farm PNW is a small, urban produce farm located in Olympia, Washington. We are striving to be a permaculture market farm. The farm grows on approximately a half acre of cultivated cropland intermixed with perennial food forest area (some areas still in early phases of planting). We have been selling vegetables and herbs on our on-site farm stand since 2023!

Our mission is to be a local farm providing healthy food for the community in a regenerative way and to be a working model of permaculture practices.

Our primary objectives of Chickadee Farm are:

  1. Produce healthy food for the community while improving soil health and biodiversity.

  2. Create a growing system that requires minimal outside energy inputs and continues to reduce the dependency on outside inputs as it matures.

  3. Increase access to local food.

  4. Follow permaculture principles.
